St George’s Daycare Clinic is a facility providing quality inpatient care to the residents of Pafos ,ex patriots and tourist population . The effectiveness of our services and patient satisfaction is monitored through patient questionnaires, patient and doctor discussions and the establishment of a patient’s support group.
Every employee, whether in management or medical services is fully aware of this quality policy and all procedures and instructions defined within. To ensure that all Hospital’s procedures and instructions operate effectively, we undertake planned internal audits as defined within this Quality Management System (QMS). The aim of this system is to take the uncertainty out of working procedures, to make sure they work every time, with fail-safe back-up where required.
The QMS adopted by the St George’s Daycare Clinic adopts the requirements defined within the BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 Quality System Standard.
We extremely implement the quality management system to meet our patient medical needs and requirements with safety.
The Hospital’s research work includes speeches, meetings and seminars as well as papers that have been presented in various scientific conferences.

Acknowledging that the activities of St.Georges Hospital influence not only the company’s manpower and patients served, but the society as a whole and our city’s environment, St Georges hospital contributes through a series of activities aimed to inform our doctors and educate our fellow citizens on various current health care issues, and through its charity and sponsoring activities supports vulnerable social groups and initiatives taken by prominent social organizations, respectively. Our Hospital organized a lot of ceremonies to honor people that offer a lot for the social benefit.
Saint George’s Private Hospital, a private limited company registered in Cyprus , was established in 1990 and commenced operation in March 1992.It is the only private hospital in Cyprus that have been financed by the Development Bank of Cyprus, the Government bankers.
It was named St Georges after the inspiration that Dr Demetriou had at 4 am in 1991.Dr Demetriou was trying hardly to find a name for the hospital and suddenly he woke up from his sleep at 4 am in 1991 with the inspiration to name the hospital St.Georges.
During 1996, the hospital undertook a major expansion programme, with the services and facilities now extending over five floors.
We now have separate clinical, surgical and maternity wings, with each unit being supported by the full range of the modern technology required to meet the needs of our patients.
The hospital offers a pleasantly relaxed atmosphere in which specialist medical and nursing personnel, using the most modern and sophisticated equipment, provide a first class private health care service.
With the aim of providing Quality in Patient Care, the hospital is committed to the introduction of new services and facilities as the need is identified.
The early diagnosis of potential health problems gives any treatment required with a much greater chance of being effective. With this in mind Saint George’s has recently introduced Health Screening programmes, all conducted by our highly qualified specialists using modern diagnostic equipment.
